Each year, a slate of officers is presented for a vote at the October general membership meeting with opportunity for nominations from the floor. The final vote is taken at the November general membership meeting. Board members serve for one year and are eligible for re-election. The president serves for a maximum of two consecutive years.

The president may appoint, subject to board approval, additional board members as chairs of activities or liaisons to relevant organizations.
